It was thought to heal wounds and “all down-heartedness” In recent research St John’s Wort has been used for nervous exhaustion and depression. It has been proven useful in seasonal affective disorder and chronic anxiety and is known to improve sleep quality and is now one of the most used herbs in the world. Infused Oil: Make by steeping the herb in oil for 6 weeks and dab onto minor wounds and burns. Tea Infusion: 1 tsp in 8oz boiling water and steep for 6-10 minutes. CAFFEINE FREE.
